Horyzon Media sites are unique in that they deal with hot news and passion.
To give you an idea, we push our major news via Web Push; in total, we send out around 20 notifications a day for soccer sites and 10 to 15 for automotive sites. The idea behind this lever is that our editorial teams don’t feel limited.
In any case, we have a view on unsubscribes, so I can monitor the number of pushes sent if necessary.
What do you like about the solution?
In addition to the benefit for our web users of receiving the latest news in real time, Web Push generates clicks quickly after the publication of an article and therefore sends positive signals to Google Discover, showing that the content is interesting and being read.
To break through on Discover, you obviously need a good title, a photo and interesting content. But Google needs to receive signals to detect the potential of a news item, and that’s what Web Push enables.
